Evelyn Castro is an instructor for Global Institute’s Cosmetology – Beauty Care Manufacturing program. Having traveled the world and studying various products for enhancing the natural radiance of different skin types, Evelyn specializes in the production and application of beauty treatment appropriate for specific skin care. Conscious of artificial chemicals that damage skin and hair, her classes adopt a manufacturing process with organic products that are carefully selected and crafted to maintain supple and youthful look while also treating damaged beauty.
As an entrepreneur herself, multi-tasked and wearing many hats as a professional, Evelyn is the current Director for the Global Institute’s Executive Teams for Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. She is a graduate of the Chicago State University’s, CSU, International Studies Program; specializing in International Business and Economics. She is the Founding President of the Global Youth and Students Association and a founding member of the Global Institute of Sustainable Development at CSU. Her areas of expertise include Intercultural and Interpersonal Communication, World Cultures, E-commerce, Marketing, Natural Beauty Products, Customer Service, Event Planning, Public Speaking, International Travel and Entrepreneurship.
With a B.A. in International Studies from Chicago State University, an Associates in Arts from The City Colleges of Chicago; and completion of the A2 Level French Course at the Universitede Nice Sophia Antipolis International Summer University Program in France, she is multi-linguist, fluent in Spanish, English and level A2 French. She is passionate about training beauty care entrepreneurs from different world regions to start and grow their beauty business and/or for personal use.
